The candidate will carry out research into how core Web principles like hyperlinks and hypermedia control can be leveraged to design self-organizing systems composed of sensing and actuating agents. Both simulated and real-world setups will be available for experiments. The candidate will get the opportunity to work with a variety of computing platforms, from micro-controllers to high-end server racks. Emphasis will be put on implementation and practical aspects of research, provided rigorous experimental design and analysis. The candidate may also get involved in teaching activities on Linked Data-related topics.
