From July 26th to 30th 2021 the summer school on AI technologies for trust, interoperability and autonomy in Industry 4.0 took place as a hybrid event at Waischenfeld (Germany), Saint-Étienne (France), St. Gallen (Switzerland) and online. Almost 60 participants learned about challenges and state-of-the-art in the research fields of Web of Things, Knowledge Graphs and Multi-Agent Systems in lectures and keynote talks given by experts from industry and academia. Exercises and a hackathon provided the opportunity to apply these topics in a practical context.

Sebastian Schmid and Daniel Schraudner co-organized the summerschool together with partners from Ecole des Mines Saint-Étienne, Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, Technische Universität München and Universität St. Gallen.

The event was supported by Deutsch-Französische Hochschule/Université franco-allemande.
