The first workshop of the SeReCo doctoral college took place – and the Chair of Technical Information Systems was part of it! On 23rd and 24th of May 2022, the workshop was located at Campus Région numérique in Charbonnières-les-Bains, near Lyon (France), organized by our partners from Mines Saint-Étienne. During these two days, PhD Students had the chance to present their ongoing projects and new topics, discuss progress and get feedback from the participants of SeReCo.

The event included a keynote from Gwen Salaün on “Models and Verification for Composition and Reconfiguration of Web of Things Applications”, as well as a visit and demonstration of the DIWII experimentation platform on-site.

Michael Freund, Zhou Gui, Daniel Henselmann, Sebastian Schmid, and Daniel Schraudner gave talks on their current research. Rene Dorsch was introduced to the overall community as new PhD student.
