Thesis: Interfacing agent modeling software with RDF

Abstract: There exists numerous agent modeling platforms with a mature code base, either for research purposes (like NetLogo) or as commercial products (like AnyLogic). These platforms provide simple languages to specify agent behavior as well as efficient execution environments to simulate agent interactions. However, despite the fact the Web is the ideal place for agents to interact, only few (if any) agent modeling platforms interface with Web technologies.
The thesis should introduce an approach to transform agent interactions in simulated environments to concrete HTTP message exchange with Web servers. The latter shall provide a representation of agents’ environment that is compliant to the Linked Data principles, using RDF technologies.
