All good things come to an end, and so did our BMBF-funded project MOSAIK – successfully! On July 7th and 8th we had our final meeting together with representatives from DLR to conclude our work and partnership. Our partners from Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg kindly hosted the meeting in Magdeburg, where we showed our work and results on resilient, agent-based systems that use stigmergy as indirect way to communicate with each other.

With our partners from Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, DFKI, Robert Bosch GmbH and Netsyno, we presented demonstrations on self-organized manufacturing, where the concepts we created and implemented came to life. As consortium leader of MOSAIK, we look back on a successful and satisfying project which not only had interesting topics, but also partners everyone enjoyed working with.

Of course, we had a small social event in the evening, where five members of the Chair of Computational Intelligence, including Prof. Sanaz Mostaghim, took part in the annual running event Firmenstaffel – with lots of rooting and cheering for them by us!

From our chair, Andreas Harth, Sebastian Schmid and Daniel Schraudner presented their work on MOSAIK.
